Wherever possible, project construction will draw on local skills and labor, materials and crafts, which will be developed and adapted as necessary to meet or exceed the standards of a five-star resort. A key element of the design will be the inclusion of sustainable energy sources – solar and hydro power and heating, eco-friendly waste water treatment, and buildings designed to maximize natural ventilation and shading. The resort should be a model for future developments and capable of being audited against international standards.
